well here I am again at a familiar place from my past. ever feel like sometimes life feels like a huge DeJa Vu? I something think i am living the same life over and over again but just in a different city. I have been praying a lot lately about how to break out of the box and see things from a different perspective. i am so anxious to go to the next level with God... to love people more and not be selfish, to serve God in a greater way. Now I don't mean for recognition but to feel that LIFE IS WORTH the fight!

My experience has been when i feel useless to reach out and make others feel useful and worthy of love. so i begun a new journey to rediscover my love for God and for students. I have been reading pretty much everything from books to blogs, pod casts, talking to mentors... whatever. I find myself just hungry to be a kingdom champion. so for the 2 of you reading this... what are your thoughts about being in the same ole rut?

well i'm back from SD. it was a great vacation... all except the heat. it was over 100 most of the week but it was much cooler down at the beach. we got to catch up with some old friends. we spent alot of time just hanging out in the pool. I got to go golfing alot which was incredible. it was so relaxing. I really need it right before the busy summer. Debbie and the girls went horsebackriding in the mountians which was a cool experience for them. it was super hot though and Debbie's horse had some serious gas. stinky and hot wow better her than me. wow the whole summer is going to go by so fast.

Well It's finally here. Summer is such an amazing time of the year. The sun is shinning... no worries... sleep in... kick back all day. Is there any better time of the year? I always loved summer. I love the smell of fresh cut grass and the BBQ blazing. My most exciting part of summer is VACATION... YES!!! You gotta love that. Traveling to amazing places and hanging out with familia... (Italian in case you were thinking it was a typo). So I want to hear about all your amazing plans for summer. With all the exciting details.

who is excited? I am! I love RFL time... it is my favorite time of the year. there is always so much energy and everyone seems to do what I wish they would do all year long. I wish we could all keep this attitude all year long. but the again if we had RFL all year it would become boring real quick. so anyways for those who have no idea of what I'm talking about. RFL is a time every year where in our student ministries... the high school and middle school battle it out to see who will win a free trip to magic mountain! whhooppeeee... ok that was weird. i guess it is kinda sad that all it takes is RFL to get me happy. oh well can you say..."NO LIFE."

i am just kidding... i really do have a great life. I love everything about it. especially my fam. I love my wife and kids more than anything. they are such an inspiration to me. My wife is like the ultimate super-wife. she is beautiful and smart... she also is the most caring person I have ever met. my kids... wow where do i start? Tiffani is so impressive. she is a junior and already in college. she is a brianiac like her mama. she is also a fun and free spirit kinda girl. always looking at the fun side of life. even like today when she got surgery on her teeth she is cracking up laughing when most people would be crying. Now Nicki I don't even know where to start... she is like the most humble, fun and incredible person like ever. she not only cooks awesome meals, she cleans and pretty much does about anything. most parents would die to have a daughter like Nicki. know what? they are right! we wouldn't trade her for nothing. and finally there is Jimmy aka LJ or like i call him... Jim_mooch! LJ is so talented. he has more talent than both Debz and I combined. he not only is an awesome drummer but he can rip it up on the guitar. he might even be the next Hendrix that is if he doesn't succeed in the NFL which is a dream of his. I don't doubt any of it. I believe that he can be anything he wants to be. well like i said i love my life. if there is one thing that I could change it would be to be a better husband, dad and Youth Pastor. I never seem to be content with average. i think average sucks quite honestly! Like the quote i love and live by... "A true champion is afraid of being average." just ask Eli Manning.
